100 ENVELOPE CHALLENGE TRACKER FOR GOOGLE SHEETS AND EXCEL

A savings tracker for the classic 100 envelope challenge. One envelope #1 amount sets the whole 100-envelope ladder, so you're not stuck downloading a separate file for every goal. Fill envelopes in any order, and your total, your pace, and which ones are still open update on their own.

📊 WHAT IT DOES

✓ Start here: type your envelope #1 amount once, and it scales all 100 envelopes — a small amount makes the classic challenge, a bigger one makes a bigger goal.
✓ Envelopes: all 100 in one list. Pick any envelope, in any order, and type the date you filled it. Amount and status fill in by themselves.
✓ Envelopes: a one-time Shuffle pick for a random order to grab next — just for fun, never a rule.
✓ Progress: total saved, percent to your goal, and whether you're ahead or behind your planned pace, with your finish date at that pace.
✓ Progress: the cheapest envelopes still open for a quick win, and the priciest ones still open, so you start setting money aside before they're all that's left.
✓ Progress: a chart of your planned pace against what you've actually filled in, week by week.
✓ Labels: a printable sheet of 100 cards — envelope number and amount — for anyone using paper envelopes.

📂 WHAT'S INSIDE: 4 TABS AND 1 CHART

✓ Start here: your name, envelope #1 amount, start date, weekly pace and which day starts your week
✓ Envelopes: all 100 envelopes, four cards, and the Shuffle pick hint
✓ Progress: three cards, cheap & open, big & open, and the pace-vs-actual chart
✓ Labels: the printable 10×10 grid of cards

💻 GOOD TO KNOW

✓ Works with a free Google account. No app, no ads, no subscription.
✓ Cash in envelopes doesn't earn interest and can be lost or stolen. Many people move the amount to a savings account instead and log the date here — the tracker works the same either way.
✓ Shuffle pick is a one-time random order, printed once when the file was made. Grab envelopes in any order you like.
✓ Type only in the lighter input cells. Formulas are protected: Google Sheets warns you before you change one, and Excel keeps them locked.
✓ Best on a computer for setup. The Google Sheets app works for a quick check on your phone.
✓ The Excel version may look slightly different from the photos (fonts, colors, charts). The photos show Google Sheets. Links between tabs work in Google Sheets.
✓ English only. Not made for Apple Numbers.
✓ Free updates for life.
