Bill Tracker Spreadsheet for Google Sheets and Excel
BILL TRACKER SPREADSHEET FOR GOOGLE SHEETS AND EXCEL
A bill tracker spreadsheet for anyone who wants every bill and due date in one place. It compares what you pay now with what you paid last year. It counts down to the last day you can still cancel before a bill renews.
Works for bills that repeat weekly, every two weeks, monthly, quarterly, twice a year or once a year.
📊 WHAT IT DOES
✓ Next 30 days: every bill due in the next month, nearest first, with the days left and whether it needs you to act.
✓ Payday plan: lines up six pay periods ahead against your bills, so you can see which pay period is tightest before it happens.
✓ Autopay: splits your bills into the ones that pay themselves and the ones that need you, and flags which ride on a card.
✓ Went up: compares what you pay now with what you paid a year ago, bill by bill, so a quiet rate rise doesn't stay quiet.
✓ Annual bills and Set aside: tracks bills that are not monthly and divides each one by the months left until it's due.
✓ Renewals: counts down to the last day you can still cancel a bill, not the renewal date itself.
✓ Late fees: logs every late payment for the year, with the bill it came from and what would have prevented it.
✓ Split and Settle up: splits shared bills the way you agreed, then shows the one transfer that settles the month between two people.
✓ Worth it: lists every bill at its yearly price, biggest first, with what it has cost in late fees.

📝 HOW IT WORKS
- Open the PDF and click the link to make your own copy in Google Sheets. Or open the Excel file.
- On Start here, fill in the shaded cells: your name, household size, and the settings for due soon, big bills, rate rises and renewals.
- Add every bill once on Bills, with how it's paid, whose it is and how many days' notice it needs. Log each payment on Payments as it goes out.
- Everything else fills in by itself. Home shows what's due, what went up, and what's left after the bills.
