Cleaning Business Spreadsheet Google Sheets, Quote Calculator and Job Tracker for House Cleaners, Pricing Profit Hourly Rate
CLEANING BUSINESS SPREADSHEET FOR GOOGLE SHEETS AND EXCEL
A spreadsheet for pricing a cleaning job and tracking whether it paid what you planned. Quote a job once, log what it actually took, and your real rate an hour β and the gap from your target β show themselves.
π WHAT IT DOES
β Quote: type the cleaning type, bedrooms, bathrooms, square feet, and any add-ons for one job β estimated hours, price, and price per square foot calculate from your own pace, set once on Start here.
β Jobs: one row per job you actually did β date, client, service type, price, and the hours it actually took. Your effective rate an hour and how far it sits from your target calculate on their own.
β Expenses: one row per expense β category, date, amount, and an optional note.
β Monthly: a dashboard of jobs, revenue, expenses, profit, hours, and repeat clients by month, plus a chart of revenue against expenses and a chart of your rate against target.
β Start here: an optional business name and your target hourly rate β Quote and Jobs both use this one number.
π WHAT'S INSIDE: 5 TABS AND 2 CHARTS
β Start here: business name, target rate, and the other four tabs linked
β Quote: your own pace settings and the estimate for one job
β Jobs: five cards and every job with its effective rate against target
β Expenses: two cards and every expense
β Monthly: four cards, a chart of revenue against expenses, a chart of rate against target, and every month
π HOW IT WORKS
1. Open the PDF and click the link to make your own copy in Google Sheets. Or open the Excel file.
2. On Start here, type your target hourly rate β every other tab compares against it.
3. Before you give a price, open Quote. Type the job's size and any add-ons; the price is built on your rate.
4. Booked the job? Add it to Jobs with the final price and the hours it actually took, and open Monthly any time for revenue, profit, and whether your real rate is keeping up with target.

π» GOOD TO KNOW
β Works with a free Google account. No app, no ads, no subscription.
β Quote and Jobs both use the target rate from Start here β change it once there, not on either tab.
β A job's effective rate an hour divides the price you charged by the hours it actually took β it is often lower than the quote, and that is the point of tracking it.
β Type only in the lighter input cells. Formulas are protected: Google Sheets warns you before you change one, and Excel keeps them locked.
β Best on a computer for setup. The Google Sheets app works for a quick check on your phone.
β The Excel version may look slightly different from the photos (fonts, colors, charts). The photos show Google Sheets. Links between tabs work in Google Sheets.
β English only. Not made for Apple Numbers.
β Free updates for life.
