CO-PARENTING PLANNER FOR GOOGLE SHEETS AND EXCEL
A co-parenting planner for kids who live in two homes. The custody calendar, nights, exchanges, shared costs, child support and a factual log are in one file.
Pick your custody plan once and the file rolls it out night by night for the year, with holidays by even and odd years.
One spreadsheet you keep, not a monthly app subscription for two parents.
📊 WHAT IT DOES
✓ Schedule: your names, your children, the regular plan and the day it starts. Holidays by even and odd years.
✓ Calendar: any month on one page, each night in the color of its home, with handover days and how they went.
✓ Exchanges: one line per handover, the date and the time they arrived. The file counts on time, late and no-shows.
✓ Changes: school breaks, summer weeks, trips, swaps, make-up time and missed time on top of the regular plan.
✓ Parenting Time: nights with each parent, month by month for the last 12 months, against the plan.
✓ Expenses: shared costs for the kids, who paid, the other parent's share and what is still open.
✓ Child Support: each payment and the month it was for. It shows on time, late, short or behind.
✓ Communication Log: messages, calls and incidents written as facts. It flags words like always and never.
✓ Summary: pick two dates and get one page of totals to print or share with a mediator.
✓ Home: tonight, the next exchange, the split of nights, who owes whom and what needs a reply.
📂 WHAT'S INSIDE: 14 TABS AND 33 CHARTS
✓ Start with these three: Start here, Schedule, Calendar
✓ Look: Home, Parenting Time, Money, Summary

📝 HOW IT WORKS
- Open the PDF and click the link to make your own copy in Google Sheets. Or open the Excel file.
- On Schedule, fill in five cells: your name, the other parent, a child, the plan and the day it started.
- The file rolls the plan out night by night. Add holidays below it, and dates that differ on Changes.
- Log each handover on Exchanges, shared costs on Expenses, payments on Child Support and messages on Communication Log.
- Everything else fills in by itself. Home shows tonight, the next exchange and who owes whom.

💻 GOOD TO KNOW
✓ Works with a free Google account. No add-ons, no subscription. The other parent needs no app.
✓ Type only in the input cells. Formulas are protected, so you can't break them by accident.
✓ One night counts for one home: the home where the children sleep. Shares are counted in nights.
✓ Plans ready to pick: 2-2-3, 2-2-5-5, 3-4-4-3, week on week off, every other weekend and more. Add your own in one line.
✓ Holidays are rules, not dates: Dec 24 or the 4th Thursday of November. The file finds the dates each year.
✓ Room for 4 children, 300 exchanges, 80 changes, 300 shared costs, 80 child support payments and 300 log entries.
✓ Amounts show in dollars. The formulas work the same in any currency.
✓ Best on a computer. The Google Sheets app works for quick entries on your phone.
✓ The Excel version may look slightly different from the photos (fonts, colors, charts). The photos show Google Sheets.
✓ English only. Not made for Apple Numbers.
✓ Free updates for life.
