ETSY SELLER SPREADSHEET FOR GOOGLE SHEETS AND EXCEL
An Etsy seller spreadsheet for makers who sell what they make and ship. It shows what each listing really earns after every Etsy fee, what you kept each month and what to set aside for taxes.
Every Etsy fee gets its own line: transaction, processing, listing, Offsite Ads and Share & Save.
📊 WHAT IT DOES
✓ Listings: one line per listing. It takes off every Etsy fee and shows the profit a sale, the margin and your pay an hour.
✓ Orders: one line per sale. Each line works out Etsy's cut, Offsite Ads included, and what you kept.
✓ Price It: one sale from the inside, fee by fee. Try another price or shipping, or see what an Offsite Ads order leaves.
✓ Profit by Listing: every listing over 12 months, best earner on top, with what to do next.
✓ Monthly P&L: twelve months of money in and money out, the net profit and what to set aside.
✓ Fees & Ads: each Etsy fee by month, and whether Etsy Ads earns back what you spend.
✓ Shipping: labels against what buyers paid for shipping, and what to add to a price to cover free shipping.
✓ Taxes: profit for the tax year, what to set aside for the four IRS due dates, costs by tax group and the 1099-K line.
✓ Expenses: supplies, Etsy Ads, renewals, miles to the post office and tax payments, each in its own category.
✓ Home: net profit, what buyers paid, what Etsy took, top earners and the listings to re-price.
📂 WHAT'S INSIDE: 12 TABS AND 33 CHARTS
✓ Start with these three: Start here, Listings, Orders
✓ Look: Home, Price It, Profit by Listing, Monthly P&L
✓ Money out: Expenses, Fees & Ads, Shipping
✓ Taxes and setup: Taxes, Settings
📝 HOW IT WORKS
1. Open the PDF and click the link to make your own copy in Google Sheets. Or open the Excel file.
2. On Start here, type the name you want on Home and set Demo data to No. The example data disappears.
3. On Settings, check Etsy's rates, your hourly goal, target margin and tax rate.
4. On Listings, type a listing, its price, the materials, the label and your minutes. That is enough to see the profit a sale.
5. Log every sale on Orders and every cost on Expenses. Everything else fills in by itself. Home shows the net profit and what to re-price.

💻 GOOD TO KNOW
✓ Works with a free Google account. No add-ons, no subscription, no connection to your Etsy account.
✓ Type only in the input cells. Formulas are protected, so you can't break them by accident.
✓ It does not pull orders from Etsy. You type each sale or copy it from Etsy's orders download.
✓ Starts with Etsy's US fees for 2026. When Etsy changes a rate, you change one cell on Settings.
✓ Processing is counted on the sales tax the buyer pays too, the way Etsy charges it.
✓ A refund gives back the fees Etsy credits. The listing fee stays, the same as on Etsy.
✓ Room for 40 listings, 1,000 order lines and 400 costs. Starts with 8 shop sections and 13 cost categories. Rename them or add your own.
✓ Taxes is a guide for US sellers. It shows what to set aside, not what you owe.
✓ Prices in US dollars.
✓ Best on a computer. The Google Sheets app works for quick entries on your phone.
✓ The Excel version may look slightly different from the photos (fonts, colors, charts). The photos show Google Sheets.
✓ English only. Not made for Apple Numbers.
✓ Free updates for life.
