BILL TRACKER FOR GOOGLE SHEETS AND EXCEL

A simple bill tracker that keeps every bill and its due date in one place. Type each bill once with its amount, due date and frequency. It shows what is due this month, what is paid, what is left and the next bill, and overdue bills turn red.
Tracks up to 40 bills.

📊 WHAT IT DOES

✓ Bills: type each bill once with the amount, due date, frequency, autopay and a category.
✓ Frequency can be monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months or yearly. Each bill shows up only in the months it is due.
✓ Bills: the next due date, days until due and a status for every bill: Paid, Due soon, Later this month, Not due this month or Overdue.
✓ Bills: four cards show Total due, Paid, Remaining and Next due.
✓ Calendar: a monthly calendar with every bill and its amount on the day it is due. Pick any month.
✓ Paid: one checkbox per bill per month, for 24 months. Months when a bill is not due stay empty.
✓ Paid: what was due and what you paid each month, with a chart.
✓ A new month starts on its own. Nothing to copy or reset.

📂 WHAT'S INSIDE: 4 TABS AND 1 CHART

✓ Start here: the start month and four short steps
✓ Bills: your bills, four cards, due dates and status
✓ Calendar: every bill on the day it is due
✓ Paid: a checkbox grid for 24 months, monthly totals and one chart

📝 HOW IT WORKS

  1. Open the PDF and click the link to make your own copy in Google Sheets. Or open the Excel file.
  2. On Start here, pick the first month you want to track. Leave it empty to start in January.
  3. On Bills, type each bill once. When you pay a bill, check its box on Paid.
  4. Everything else fills in by itself. Bills shows what is due and what is left, and Calendar shows the month.

📥 WHAT YOU GET

✓ Google Sheets version (the link is in the PDF)
✓ Excel version (.xlsx) for desktop Excel on Windows or Mac. In Excel, the checkboxes show as TRUE or FALSE
✓ A filled example to look around, and a blank copy for your own data
✓ A PDF guide with screenshots, the links and the first steps
✓ A video guide for this planner (the link is in the PDF)

💻 GOOD TO KNOW

✓ Works with a free Google account. No add-ons, no subscription, no bank connection.
✓ It does not pay bills or send reminders. It shows what is due, and you check off what you paid.
✓ Add new bills at the bottom of the list, so the checks on Paid stay with the right bill.
✓ Type only in the lighter input cells. Formulas are protected: Google Sheets warns you before you change one.
✓ Best on a computer. The Google Sheets app works for quick checks on your phone.
✓ Amounts show in dollars. The formulas work the same in any currency.
✓ The Excel version may look slightly different from the photos (fonts, colors, charts). The photos show Google Sheets.
✓ English only. Not made for Apple Numbers.
✓ Free updates for life.
